A rainy Saturday with much to contemplate.  How best to take care of cadets in crisis without inadvertently destroying their careers.  The constant pull of things left undone.  The struggle to maintain fitness and move the scale down without destroying my joints.  And trying to balance the needs of today without sacrificing preparation for tomorrow.  Always the nagging feeling that there is something more important to accomplish, but not having the discipline to execute.  At the end of it all, just getting up and putting one foot in front of the other.
For now, just trying to enjoy the afternoon with the bride and an evening with my Air Force weather colleagues at our annual holiday party.
